25th Hour was founded by Cayla DuChene, a Wharton-educated MBA and Illinois CPA (inactive) with executive-level experience and a diverse background in Big Four public accounting, management consulting, venture capital, and as a CFO.
Cayla started her career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers (previously Coopers & Lybrand) where she developed strong audit and compliance skills. After attending Wharton Business School for her MBA in Finance, Cayla joined Deloitte Consulting, specializing in strategy, re-engineering & litigation support. She left Deloitte to serve as Director of Venture Finance for SBC’s (previously Ameritech's) newly created venture investment division, where she evaluated and selected joint ventures, subsequently serving as CFO of some of them. After leaving SBC, Cayla held CFO positions at several established & start-up ventures. Prior to Business School, Cayla developed strong audit skills working at PriceWaterhouse Coopers (previously Coopers & Lybrand).
After her own divorce 15 years ago, Cayla leveraged her background to assist attorneys, mediators, forensic specialists, valuation experts and other parties with the comprehensive analysis necessary in divorce, for estate sizes from $250k to $1bn. She now dedicates her time exclusively to these matters.
